Anton Mfg. uses flexible production systems that allow rapid product changeovers, helping drive manufacturing efficiency.
Anton Manufacturing is looking for a Process Engineer who will report to the Process Engineering Manager, and be responsible for improving the competitiveness and profitability of the company by ensuring timeliness and continuous improvement in current and future programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing packaging specifications and instructions
Participate in the ordering of new production equipment.
Responsible for coordinating the testing and delivery/installation of new production equipment.
Responsible for developing and updating the layout of new and existing equipment.
Responsible for developing setup, dummy part, and changeover instructions.
Responsible for continuous improvements on new/existing equipment.
Responsible for safety issues on the equipment.
Responsible for time studies, and delay studies on equipment.
Responsible for developing/verifying new equipment and layout.
Responsible for developing Operator instructions (press and assembly).
Creates and archives electronic documents following the department guidelines for naming and saving protocols.
Responsible for developing Process Flow Diagrams.
Responsible for saving and archiving Process Target.
Maintain facility stoppages, rework, and action plans in a timely manner.
Participating in continuous improvement cost savings programs
Participating in Kaizen and GEAR activities
Follow all general procedures where applicable as indicated in the GENERAL PROCEDURES section of the level III Procedure manual
Follow all DEPARTMENTAL GENERAL PROCEDURES as well as procedures for this position as indicated in the level III Procedure manual
Perform other duties as assigned
Work in compliance and conformity to TS16949 and ISO14001 standards
Education and Experience:
College Diploma or University Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or Five years’ experience in a related field or discipline.
Working knowledge of CAD, preferably Solid Works
The ability to read and interpret Part drawings, good knowledge of GD&T
Good knowledge of production reporting systems and MRP in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of Government legislation in the areas of Health and Safety, Environment, Employment Standards, Fire code, Canadian Standards Association, etc.
Good Technical Report writing abilities.
Excellent problem solving techniques and methods.
Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.
Ability to read, write and speak English
Excellent interpersonal skills – dealing with customers and other departments.
