Located in Markham, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Technical Center (MTC) is part of the Multimatic Engineering Group and is the North American home of Multimatic Motorsports. MTC is responsible for production of the Ford Mustang GT4 race car as well as numerous engineering projects requiring body and paint refinishing.
Multimatic Technical Center is seeking Automotive Paint and Finishing Technicians (Note: No License Required) who will be responsible for the application of primer and paint, as well as the finishing of composite components manufactured by the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Bodywork preparation, including application of fillers
Preparing components for coatings using various preparation methods
Applying coatings to composite components using various spray methods
Buffing and polishing components utilizing various buffing techniques
Maintaining paint spray tools, including the spray facility
Mixing and blending coatings utilizing a computerized mix station
Following all established safety procedures
Masking appropriate areas as required
Inspecting components during processing stages
Following build manuals and quality control processes
Consulting on and resolving quality issues as they arise
Using body repair materials/methods for composite components
Attention to detail and quality work are required
Training will be provided as required.
Education and Experience:
Experience in auto body finishing and repair an asset
Ability to interpret basic instruction via detailed drawings / written instructions
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Flexible schedule to accommodate shift work, if required
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office is an asset
An understanding of composite component construction is an asset
Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset
