Located in Markham, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (MAMT) is part of Multimatic’s Niche Vehicles Group. MAMT provides advanced prototyping services to Multimatic’s production divisions and to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), niche vehicle manufacturers, motorsports organizations and consumer products companies.
Multimatic Advanced Manufacturing Technologies is looking for Composite Technicians - Laminator that will be responsible for constructing complex composite parts from resin-impregnated carbon fibre, glass fibre and aramid cloth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle composite materials and follow established safety procedures
Hand laminate composite components to specifications provided by project engineers
Prepare components for autoclave cure utilizing vacuum bagging practices
Prepare tooling patterns and moulds using chemical sealers and release systems
Fabricate molds from supplied patterns
Handle cleaning products and tools in an appropriate manner
Follow build manuals and quality control processes
Consult and resolve quality issues as they arise, in consultation with project engineers
Training Provided.
Education and Experience:
Comfortable using common hand tools and power tools
Ability to read and interpret drawings including GD&T
Ability to interpret basic instruction via detailed drawings / instructions
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Flexible schedule to accommodate shift work if required
Basic computer skills are required, familiarity with Microsoft Office is an asset
Basic understanding of composite component construction is an asset
Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset
Experience in the lay up of composite materials is an asset
