CMM Operator/Programmer
Location: FORMULA SAE NORTH, Multimatic Product Services, Bangkok, Multimatic Anton Manufacturing, Concord, Ontario, Canada
Position Overview
The Multimatic Mechanisms Group manufactures high quality, closure hardware systems for all vehicle applications. With facilities in North America and Europe, and representation in all major markets, the Multimatic Mechanisms Group is a world-class full service supplier providing, stamped, profile, cast and forged hinge systems for all applications including door, hood, trunk, liftgate/decklid and sliding doors and closure checking, assist and power devices.
Multimatic Mechanisms requires a CMM Operator/Programmer that will be responsible for programming and operating a CMM, using PC-DMIS software, Inspection duties will also involve conventional measuring, using a range of hand equipment including an optical Comparator, (Shadow graph). Additional training in the use of specific equipment will be given as required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Programming and operating a CMM, using PC-DMIS software
- Conventional measuring, using a range of hand equipment, shadowgraph
- Preparing inspection reports for internal and external use
- Reporting results to relevant departments
Basic Requirements:
- A bright, ambitious individual with relevant background in the automotive industry
- An understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good organization and communication skills
- Able to work shifts
Desirables:
- Previous metrology experience
- Experience with PC DMIS
- CAD experience
