Multimatic Special Vehicle Operations (MSVO) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford GT Mk IV supercar, Ford Mustang GT4 and the Ford Bronco DR racing truck.

Position Overview:

MSVO is seeking Automotive bodywork prep and paint Technicians, who will be responsible for prepping and painting the Ford GTMKIV, the Ford Mustang GT4 and the Ford Bronco DR. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for anyone who desires hands-on experience with high performance vehicles, the latest in automotive technology, and has a passionate interest in automobiles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in a specialty racing shop environment prepping and painting Ford GT MKIV, Ford Mustang GT4 and Ford Bronco DR racing vehicles as well as other vehicles when required.
  • Apply coatings to composite components using various spray methods.
  • Prepare components for coatings using various preparation methods.
  • Spot repair components using various spray methods.
  • Maintain shop tools and equipment including the spray facility.
  • Mask appropriate areas as required.
  • Inspect components during processing stages.
  • Follow work instructions and quality control processes.
  • Use body repair materials and methods for composite components.
  • Work efficiently to complete car builds on schedule.
  • Recognize and communicate potential improvements for safety, quality of product and time of car completion.
  • Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment and providing positive feedback.
  • Adhering to Multimatic’ s quality-focused attitude and work culture
  • Training as required.


  • Experience in auto body finishing and repair.
  • Experience in spot repair using airbrush or spray gun.
  • Ability to interpret basic work instructions & follow mix ratios.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision with high quality output.
  • An understanding of composite component construction is an asset.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset.
  • This work requires quality, consistent work, and flexibility under critical time deadlines. It may require extended hours and some work on the weekends depending on the timelines.
