Stores Coordinator
Location: Multimatic Niche Volume Assembly, Thetford, Norfolk, United Kingdom
Multimatic is a global automotive supply company providing hardware and engineering services to OEMs around the world.
Multimatic Niche Volume Assembly is seeking a Stores Coordinator to work with the in-house stores and logistics team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and control project inventory in the stores environment ensuring documents are accurately recorded whilst maintaining safe storage and shipping of project inventory.
- Receive and process all Goods-in deliveries following agreed and written procedures.
- Distribute deliveries to appropriate people / departments/ projects.
- Ensure correct part identification of all incoming inventory.
- Monitor and log all stock movements.
- Manage consumables stock and reorder as required.
- Process parts accurately in ERP system (IMS/SAP).
- Package finished products ready to be dispatched, manual handling of boxes and crates.
- Participate with the quality department to manage incoming goods inspection and quarantining of goods.
- Participate with material control to manage shipments and resolve supply issues.
- Raise delivery notes and arrange shipments to customers as required.
- Support the accounts team to quickly solve invoice queries and provide relevant back up.
- Supports all company and department activities associated with meeting the goal in the “Presidents Message”
- Adopts and practices Kaizen principles and concepts, participates in continuous improvement and GEAR activities.
- Follows all general procedures as indicated in the General Procedures section of the Level 2 and 3 Procedures Manual.
- Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. IATF16949, ISO 9001).
- Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
- Previous warehouse and shipping experience highly desired.
- High level of communication skills required to communicate effectively to all levels of the business.
- Comprehensive IT skills, Excel experience is essential and SAP experience is an advantage.
- Experience of compliance and improvement.
- A good standard of English is required, be able to read, write & speak English.
- Willingness to learn new skills and desire for personal development.
- Proactive approach to work, eye for detail and a strong focus on quality.
- Punctual and flexible approach.
- Strong team player with self-motivation.
