Company Overview:

Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility responsible for the complete assembly of specialty vehicles such as the Ford GT Mk IV supercar and the Ford Bronco DR.

Position Overview:

MNVNA is seeking an Recruiting / HR Coordinator (12-month contract) to aid in the recruitment of various production roles and support staff. The successful candidate will report directly to the HR Manager and be responsible for reviewing resumes, working closely with the HR Manager and Production Team to coordinate interviews, reaching out to candidates, reference checks where applicable, and help facilitate / participate in recruiting events on an as needed basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers / Production Managers to understand the hiring needs and roles to be filled
  • Assist with the development and revision of job descriptions for open positions within the division
  • Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates
  • Draft recruitment advertisements: post and/or place ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions
  • Develop/maintain candidate pipeline and align on future hiring needs
  • Promote an internal referral program
  • Work with placement agencies, if needed, to assist with the recruitment process
  • Screen applicants, schedule interviews; oversee the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Connect qualified candidates with hiring managers
  • Maintain contact with candidates to keep them informed of the status of their applications and answer questions from candidates
  • Assist in recruiting events as needed
  • Conduct and analyze data from the recruitment process and suggest improvements
  • Manage internal ATS, utilize the system and be the master user
  • Conduct reference checks when required
  • On-board new hires
  • Assist with other HR duties as needed
  • Any other reasonable requests made by Management

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or relevant degree – preferred
  • Previous recruiting experience required– minimum of 3 years’ experience – recruiting for automotive / manufacturing roles is an asset
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – approachable demeanor, great listener
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Good at multi-tasking
  • Attention to detail
