Position Overview:
Multimatic is a global automotive supply company providing hardware and engineering services to OEMs around the world.
Undertake project management of a stand-alone short duration motorsport, fixturing and service spares projects, also supporting project prototyping of a wider Multimatic program. General project management responsibility for the planning and coordination of project activities, including defining project scope and Manpower requirements for achievement of deliverables to quality, timing and cost targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and deliver project plans for new proposals and existing projects through liaison with functional departments leaders, including creation of cost models and customer quotes.
Define project scope and timeline, identifying key project deliverables and milestones maintaining relevant documentation and communication with stakeholders
Create project team through Manpower and facilities planning, ensuring resources are available to support project activities through to OTIF delivery
Risk planning and management throughout project, following escalation procedures when necessary.
Manage project timing within overall project plan; tracking progress changes and develop recovery plans when necessary.
Control project spend within allocated budget, running reports for reporting and escalation.
Ensure quality of deliverables from functional departments, manage achievement of project deliverables at program milestones, and facilitate customer sign-off at gateway stages.
Collate and deliver weekly management status reports.
External customer liaison and reporting for stand-alone projects.
Resolve any open issues upon project completion, general final project report and collate lessons learned into database.
Maintain project file directory database, ensure configuration control for project documents and reports.
Follows all general procedures as indicated in the General Procedures section of the Level 3 Procedures Manual.
Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 90012014).
Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum HNCHND third level qualifications.
Preference will be given to candidates with Qualification in Mechanical Automotive Engineering
At least 3 years experience of working within automotive design and development programs
Understanding of Manufacturing Process and ability to understand Engineering drawings
Knowledge and experience of automotive product development process and activities
Good communication and professional presentation skills for customer and supplier interfacing
Leadership, man management and conflict resolution skills
Able to work at pace & multitask / prioritise workloads
Capable of organising and managing priorities, utilise problem solving techniques
Computer literate, with advanced MS Word, Powerpoint & Excel skills/abilities, MS Project expertise preferred
