Financial Systems Analyst

Multimatic is a privately held, global enterprise supplying engineered components, systems and services to the automotive industry. The company’s core competencies include the development and manufacture of complex mechanisms and body hardware, suspension systems and body structural components as well as the design, engineering and development of light weight composite automotive systems.

Scope of Position:
The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible to provide support to financial reporting systems & applications as well as perform analysis to support the Groups and Corporate with accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support OneStream financial reporting process across the organization
  • Create new users in the OneStream Production environment and assign access
  • Provide OneStream training and support to end-users
  • Coordinate various month end processes on the OneStream application (maintain FX rates, monitor month end workflow)
  • Support budget and reforecast process on OneStream application (updating scenarios, FX rates, business rule/logic for reporting requirements, supporting end users on the data load process)
  • Monitor the OneStream application and collaborate with IT to analyze and resolve system problems
  • Maintain chart of accounts, organization structure in OneStream (create, edit, etc.); Send requests to IT to create account in SAP; update transformation rule for I/C accounts
  • Provide support to the Manager of Financial Systems to create and maintain OneStream reports based on reporting requirements
  • Provide support to end users - Create and maintain monthly and quarterly Master presentation files for all groups; Create and maintain forecast and presentation files for groups
  • Support year end audit and tax audit Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) and other financial system support
  • Support in the creation and maintenance of a Corporate financial systems user manual and process documentation
  • Liaison for Corporate Finance with Corporate IT for all financial systems maintenance and updates
  • Establish great working relationship with all levels of the organization (Finance teams at Corporate, Groups, and Divisions, along with all departments within IT) in the administration of the OneStream system and other Corporate financial systems
  • Provide support for other Corporate financial reporting/projects as required


  • Certifications in business systems software
  • Degree in Business/Commerce/Accounting preferred
  • 4+ years working experience in financial systems and business intelligence/reporting applications
  • Strong understanding of accounting & financial processes
  • Working knowledge of financial consolidations and foreign currency translations
  • Financial system implementation experience is an asset
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills
  • Experience in training users is an asset
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel
  • Experience with ERP, Consolidations, and Business Intelligence applications preferred
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Visual Basic, or similar programming languages is an asset
  • Experience working with auditors and preparing CAATs audit files is an asset
