Position Overview:
Multimatic Anton is a division of Multimatic Inc. and a leader in the production of engineered mechanisms for the global automotive industry. We are a full-service supplier, optimized for high-volume production, and focused on continuous improvement in all systems and processes to drive manufacturing efficiency
Multimatic Anton is looking for an Accounts Payable who will assist in the Accounting Department. The Accounts Payable will maintain an accurate, timely, and reliable process around payments and related recordkeeping.

Responsibilities
Process and match invoices
Key-in appropriate journal entries into SAP system
Processing invoices with no receiving
Print cheques from SAP system and create manual cheques
Assist in Reception relief as necessary
Work in a safe manner at all times
Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts including GEAR activities
Follow all Company procedures and policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Work in compliance and conform to standards
Requirements
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
Minimum two years accounting experience, preferably in an environment using menu driven accounting package.
Able to work autonomously and effectively managing several files at once
Effective organizational skills and able to manage priorities, pressure and regular
Strong communication skills and able to effectively respond and resolve pay, benefits/pension, balances and paid time-off inquiries via email and telephone.
Excellent problem solving/judgement skills and high degree of attention to
Proven knowledge of payroll and employment legislation and
Strong Microsoft Office
Able to maintain a confidential work
Superior keyboarding skills.
Ability to handle large volume of paperwork and meet deadlines.
Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.
Ability to read, write and speak English
