Position Overview:
Continuous improvement is at the core of MCFT’s values and due to company growth, we are looking to appoint a Training Officer for Trim and Assembly. The Training Officer will lead and deliver our training and development programme for new starters and apprentices within Trim and Assembly.

Key responsibilities:
Train new starters and apprentices on hand trimming of composite parts, assembly of parts using adhesive and mechanical fixings, pattern making and hand finishing of moulds.
Complete all administration related tasks and training development plans
Provide feedback to management on the progress of new starters and apprentices
Support the apprentice recruitment process
Demonstrate safe working practices in line with company policy
Manufacture of customer parts where required
Assess training and skill development needs for Staff.
Basic requirements:
Experience with composite trimming and assembly techniques
Understanding of engineering drawings and lay-up manuals
Experience of training and/or mentoring team members
Excellent communications skills
Good organisation and time management skills
Approachable with the ability to motivate and encourage others
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Day shift.
