Position Overview:

To perform and administer the Sales Coordinator function within the Advanced Quality Planning department to ensure quotes on time and administer contract review while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Request for Quote, (RFQ) logging/assigning tracking number.
  • Work in compliance with other departments to setup an initial quote meeting.
  • Request, gather and input the information that is required from all designated channels to complete the various steps that are mandatory in the quoting process.
  • Communicate with the account manager on matters regarding customer issues.
  • Coordinate and update the tracking and logging of outstanding financial issues.
    Assist (when applicable) the accounting department in solving accounts receivable issues.
  • Administer invoices “Request for Paperwork” process for production and or non-production items as required. Including entry into *SAP the companies Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Administrate and maintain communications with customers through internet connections as required.
  • Support Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting as required.
  • Creation, maintenance and tracking of work orders.
  • Creation and maintenance of various forms:
  • Piece price matrix.
  • Piece price and tooling tracking form.
  • Tooling tracking form
  • Tooling breakdown form
  • Quotation letters.
  • Customer specific forms.
  • Quote vs. Actual analysis.
  • Kardex or equivalent part number history file.
  • Purchase order / Invoice checklists.

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years related business experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, internet and customer databases.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of employees within a multicultural environment.
  • Understanding of IATF16949:2016 requirements and procedures would be an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment that is fast paced and technically demanding.
