Multimatic Anton Mfg. uses flexible production systems that allow rapid product changeovers, helping drive manufacturing efficiency.
Multimatic Anton Mfg. is looking for Tool and Die Makers (Rotating shifts) who can help maintain and repair the numerous tools and dies used within the division. The successful candidates will be part of a team responsible for providing the press department with safe, well-maintained tools and dies, while ensuring quality and the ability to meet production requirements in a timely manner. Experience troubleshooting in a press shop environment would be an asset.

Key Responsibilities :
Tool & Die Maker working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Perform tool and die maintenance on production tooling
Responsible for completion of necessary paperwork including work orders/time sheets/log board entries/line book revisions
Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement suggestions on the production line
Order parts and follows the parts-received procedure
Perform routine preventive maintenance
Basic Requirements :
Certified Tool & Die Maker (completion of apprenticeship)
2 to 5 years' experience after completion of apprenticeship
Completion of High School
Completion of College desirable
Experience working on progressive and transfer dies
Previous experience working with 400T to 1,600T presses
Experience with building new tooling is an asset
Extensive experience in blueprint reading, tool welding and machining
Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to handle heavy loads
