Multimatic Ride Dynamics (MRD) is one of the newest of Multimatic’s North American divisions. Multimatic Ride Dynamics is looking for a APQP Administrator who will perform APQP administrative duties such as administration of change management processes, contract review process, management of customer portals, and other day to day administrative duties.
Type, file, maintain, and/or photocopy various correspondences, databases, documentation, and files for the APQP Manager and Program Managers.
Complete data entry and report generation for APQP purposes. This includes customer and department purchase orders, engineering changes, FSS cost tracking, and quoting.
Facilitate systems training for ECN and parts list.
Check customer websites on a regular basis to ensure new information posted by the customer is downloaded and reviewed by the APQP Department. This includes capacity studies, IMDS, prototype and/or sample deliveries, and program timing and deliverables.
Control, maintain, file, update, and keep track of all revisions and distribution of all documentation, drawings, materials, and specifications throughout the company, including current, obsolete, and in-process.
Archive documents and/or records and maintain the archive database.
Keep the APQP Manager and other appropriate personnel abreast of any new or pertinent customer requirements.
Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned by Department Manager.
Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA.
Work in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
SAP Admin tasks include; updating X-plant material status, Design drawing documentation (drawing number & revision level, date and ECN Tracker number), and Program Manager responsible.
Education and Experience:
University and/or college diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to enable amicable customer and interdepartmental relationships.
Highly conscientious; must be detail oriented.
