Vehicle Individualisation Co-ordinator

Scope of Position :

As the Vehicle Individualisation Coordinator you will be responsible for evaluating and understanding the order details for each vehicle order received from the customer. You will be responsible for communicating the full individualization requirements to all internal stakeholders, and working with the purchasing team, you will play a key role in securing the supply of low volume bespoke components to ensure that all key suppliers within the supply chain that are affected by a personalized item can react and facilitate the requests in a timely manner. This will involve working with the purchasing team in negotiating and agreeing prices and terms with suppliers in order to achieve the best outcomes on cost while considering design, volume and timing constraints.

This is an entry level position that will suit a person with an understanding of vehicles and their parts , with a keen eye for detail and with good computer skills, 

Key Responsibilities :

  • Evaluating and communicating customer individualization request to requests internally to all stakeholders
  • Communicating customer individualization request to requests internally to purchasing , material planning and logistics
  • Interfacing with the customer on a regular base to ensure a consistent flow of information
  • working with purchasing teams to  negotiate and agree prices and terms with suppliers
  • Define and establish all internal routines and procedures to bring structure to the individualization process

Key Areas of Authority:

  • Responsible for receiving and communicating individualisation orders provided by the customer and inputting them into the system

Basic Requirements :

  • Experience of production component purchasing within an automotive environment would be an asset .
  • Experience of project management and an understanding of new product development processes would be an asset
  • It is important that you are well organised, able to follow processes and procedures and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate in an effective, friendly and professional manner to all stakeholders.
  • Good problem solving ability required to overcome problems arising from specific cost, quality, time and logistics issues
  • A good knowledge of SAP system
  • A good understanding of vehicle BOM’s
