Position Overview:

Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America is seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to ensure efficient movement of raw material and finished goods on/off truck and around the facility that produces the Ford's GT supercar.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, the successful candidate will have experience working in a fast paced warehouse and understand the importance of a strong work ethic, be able to multitask and work efficiently and accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all stabled safety procedures
  • Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments against invoices, purchase orders and other supporting documents
  • Record shortages and reject damaged goods
  • Maintain receiving and inspection records
  • Coordinate and facilitate all receiving and shipping of finished goods, raw material and other miscellaneous items
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
  • Scan in all incoming distributions and transfers, maintain shipping logs, and file all paperwork
  • Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly
  • Assist in the preparation for physical inventory counts
  • Maintain warehouse area for raw material, finished goods by tracking material movements daily
  • Ensure assigned work area is kept clean and organized
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment and providing positive feedback
  • Adhering to Multimatic’s quality-focused attitude and work culture

Training is provided as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to handle weights unassisted up to 23 kilograms
  • Work in a safe manner and possesses basic knowledge in health and safety regulations
  • Experience in use of forklift, pallet lifters, hand trucks and dollies
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible in daily work assignments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills, punctual and reliable
  • Computer literacy, especially MS Office
  • Experience with SAP is an strong asset
