Position Overview:

Multimatic Niche Vehicle Assembly Europe (MNVAE), located in Coventry UK, is a world-class facility responsible for the production of future bespoke vehicles. MNVAE is currently seeking a finance assistant  to join our team and be responsible for ensuring supporting all Accounts payable and accounts receiving activities for the business .

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Accounts Payable
    • opening new Vendor records
    • maintaining invoice register
    • Processing invoices.
    • Matching receipt in system.
    • Processing invoices with no receiving, including gl coding and obtaining mgr. authorization
    • Raising Debit notes against Vendor
    • Responsible for Statement reconciliation and handling vendor queries.
    •  
    • Accounts Receivable:
    • Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger on a monthly basis
    • Reconciling sales to general ledger.
    • Cash applications.
    • Overdue collections.
    • Monthly A/R aging reports.
    • Monthly A/R summary reports, and over 120 day analysis
    • Monthly Accounts Receivable Trial Balance reports.
    • Assisting with A/R status monitoring.
    • Preparing and taking deposits to the bank.
    • Processing and entering cash applications into the SAP system.
    • Responsible for reconciling the A/R sub-ledger to the general ledger on a monthly basis

    General Accounting:                         

    • Inter-company charges
    • Month end activities
    • Year end activities
    • Fixed asset maintenance when required
    • Assisting with Asset amortization entries and reports when required
    • Assisting with Bank reconciliation when required
    • Assisting with Account reconciliation when required
    • Assisting with Petty cash disbursements when required
    • Assisting with Monthly financial statements when required
    • Assisting with Month end activities when required
    • Assisting with Reconciliations of balance sheet account when required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an AP/AR role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Data driven
  • Above average Office suite ability (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Must be able to legally work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Good awareness of health and safety principles and industry standards
  • Must be able to travel within and outside of the UK as required
