Multimatic Mfg. is looking for a Receiving Inspector in the Quality Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating and implementing the Receiving Inspection System
Responsible for implementing the Receiving Inspection System as per QA 06 01
Responsible for Colour Inspection as per QA 06 16
Responsible for Plated and E Coated Component Inspection as per QA 06 17
Responsible for Verifying Heat Treated Components as per QA 06 18
Responsible for Inputting various data in the DMN system
Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts, participate in Kaizen and Gear activities
Participate in continuous improvement program
Work in safe manner at all times
Conforms to IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 standards
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements :
Preferably experience doing dimensional checks using micrometers, verniers, gauges and check fixtures
Should be familiar with blueprint reading and dimensional tolerance
Grade 12 minimum with additional courses related to the Quality field
Have exposure to purchased components and manufacturing processed at division as well as in past employment
Possess previous experience in the automotive industry
Ability to read, write and speak English
