Multimatic's Niche Vehicle Assembly Europe (MNVAE), located in Coventry UK, is a world-class facility responsible for the production of future bespoke vehicles, and is currently seeking a Logistics Planner to join our Quality team.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Logistics Planner

This position is responsible for ensuring accurate schedule requirements for the Assembly line are clear to the business and the 3PL

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Good awareness of health and safety principles and industry standards
  • Responsible for maintaining and continuously updating the production and material schedules
  • Responsible for planning and maintaining inventory levels within target
  • Responsible for the smooth flow of parts to and from vendors and the 3PL, to the assembly line
  • Responsible for the perpetual inventory process and results
  • Participate in continuous improvement program
  • Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts
  • Follow all Departmental General Procedures
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
  • Assist the business toward gaining ISO 9001:2015
  •  

 

QUALIFICATIONS/experience

  • Minimum 3  years’ experience in material, planning or logistics role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Data driven
  • Above average Office suite ability (specifically Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Must be able to legally work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Must be able to travel within and outside of the UK as required
