Position Overview:
Multimatic Niche Vehicle Assembly Europe (MNVAE), located in Coventry UK, is a world-class facility responsible for the production of future bespoke vehicles. MNVAE is currently seeking Vehicle Assembly Technicians to part of a core team working on the assembly of bespoke niche vehicles. Reporting to a Senior Assembly Technician, and working within an exciting and dynamic vehicle development and engineering facility, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing and quality control of advanced components and complex subassemblies, and the build of complete vehicles.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Building full vehicles and associated sub-assemblies following supplied build instructions
Following build quality control processes
Assembling and fitting components to prototype and niche vehicles
Consulting on and resolving build and quality issues as they arise
Complying with all HAV safe system of work processes
Working in a safe manner, following safety procedures in an automotive assembly environment
Must comply with all ISO9001/IATF16949, ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSA (Health and Safety) systems and standards
Education & Experience:
Comfortable using common hand tools and power tools
Apprentice trained with a level 3 Automotive technician is preferred
Previous experience in within a SVO or niche vehicle operations, motor sports teams , or automotive service network is preferred
Able to read and interpret workshop manuals
Able to interpret basic instruction via workshop manuals/instructions
Able to work with minimal supervision
Monday – Friday day shift
Basic computer skills are required, familiarity with Microsoft Office is an asset
Good understanding of automotive vehicle assembly/repair
Experience in light fabrication is an asset
Experience in manufacturing environments in an asset
Experience in training co-workers is an asset
Preference will be given to internal Multimatic candidates.
