Position Overview:

Multimatic Anton Manufacturing is a division of Multimatic Inc. and a leading supplier of hinges, door checks and innovative products to the North American automotive industry.  Multimatic Anton Mfg. uses flexible production systems that allow rapid product changeovers, helping drive manufacturing efficiency.

Multimatic Anton Manufacturing is looking for a Program Manager who will report to the Platform Manager, and be responsible for improving the competitiveness and profitability of the company by ensuring timeliness and continuous improvement in current and future programs including Mechatronic programs

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of program management including prototypes, preproduction samples, production start-up, customer launch, and monitoring overall program throughout production
  • Owning the program management through complete product lifecycle, including all engineering changes to the specific program
  • Ensuring the product is being manufactured to all engineering, customer and manufacturing specifications
  • Consulting on and resolving quality issues as they arise
  • Maintaining open communication with various interacting departments including other divisions of Multimatic, as necessary
  • Reporting on program status and identifying critical issues
  • Being primary point of communication interface with the customer for the respective program
  • Providing customer presentations and technical support on new product launches both within the company and with the customer
  • Investigating, analyzing, and presenting cost-saving projects
  • Investigating and staying abreast of new and emerging technologies which may enhance the profitability of the company
  • Preparing engineering and manufacturing feasibility and prepare quotes for new and existing programs

Education and Experience:

  • College or university degree in mechanical engineering, tool and die experience and or tool and die design
  • 10 years' experience in either engineering or tooling with an automotive background
  • Excellent problem solving techniques required

Some travel and fluency in English is required
