Human Resources Administrator

Position Overview:

Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions (MDS) is one of the newest of Multimatic’s North American divisions. It is a supplier of suspension parts and welded assemblies to the automotive industry, manufacturing front and rear lower control arms, links, stabilizer bars and various welded assemblies in a modern 240,000 square foot facility.

Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to provide support services to the Human Resources Department.

Duties:

  • Assist in the administration of staff files and preparation of confidential materials as needed.
  • Coordinate all internal social activities including Gear Awards, Kaizen Training, Take Your Kid to Work Day and Employee Luncheons; etc.
  • Ensure new hire training is complete based on the according job function.
  • Monitor the Deferred Profit Sharing, Prescription Safety Glasses and Safety Shoe Reimbursement Programs.
  • Assist filling vacancies for the Production Department using temporary agencies if approved.
  • Provide HR documentation and participate in monthly employee meeting.
  • Issue and monitor employee appraisal records and training effectiveness evaluations.
  • Organize the annual hearing test.
  • Update all information boards and ensure all forms and flyers remain stocked.
  • Monitor the GEAR program, place GEAR Merchandise orders, and update the GEAR database.
  • Coordinator the employee uniforms and act at the contact for Cintas.
  • Coordinate all internal recruitment and facilitate the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Clarify all queries from employees, including the benefits program.
  • Facilitate and monitor annual divisional training plan, coordinate external training, and maintain the divisional training database.
  • Schedule internal training, including Aerial Work Platform, Forklift, Overhead Crane, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Working at Heights, WHMIS.
  • Act as Human Resources Representative on the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources field or equivalent.
  • Must have or be working towards CHRP Designation.
  • Must have minimum of 1 year experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Strong computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to interact successfully with all levels of employees in the company.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills. 
  • Must be detail orientated.
