POSITION SUMMARY:

Senior Financial Analyst will assist the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and with all finance teams across different regions in the group to manage global consolidation of budget and forecast, month-end consolidation process, and also help standardize reports globally. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist in month-end process and reports (AR, Inventory and Controller’s Comments)
  2. Maintain accurate inventory & project costing, including fixed assets management for the regional divisions
  3. Review total cost management and perform variance analysis of production & OH accounts.
  4. Assist in preparation of year-end audit package and actively participate in the preparation of Consolidated Annual Budget and Reforecast presentation and associated backup schedules
  5. Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  6. Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
  7. Analyze short and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance
  8. Partner with various finance departments across the group in order to continuously improve financial transparency and processes
  9. Ability to work cross-functionally with different finance teams and with other parts of the organization
  10. Work closely with Program Managers on program updates
  11. Develop and analyze ad hoc financial reporting to support business as required
  12. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. University Degree in Business.
2. CPA designation
3. Have a minimum of three years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive parts manufacturing facility is an definite asset
4. Are capable of and possess above average written, analytical and oral communication skills.
5. Are computer literate, with a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel), and experience working with a menu driven accounting package.
6. Have the ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in the organization
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to converse with associates at all levels.
8. Extremely analytical and highly organized.
9. In depth knowledge of manufacturing, overhead application, costing principles, inventory management and controls.
10. Knowledge in SAP is an asset.
