Multimatic Manufacturing is a division of Multimatic Inc. and a leader in the production of engineered mechanisms for the global automotive industry.  We are a full-service supplier, optimized for high-volume production, and focused on continuous improvement in all systems and processes to drive manufacturing efficiency.

We are looking for a Program Manager who will report to the Platform Manager, and be responsible for improving the competitiveness and profitability of the company by ensuring timeliness and continuous improvement in current and future programs including Mechatronic programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of program management including prototypes, preproduction samples, production start-up, customer launch, and monitoring the overall program throughout production
  • Own the program management through the complete product lifecycle
  • Ensure the product is being manufactured to all specification (engineering, customer, and manufacturing)
  • Consult with stakeholders on and resolve  issues as they arise
  • Maintain open communication with interacting departments and at other Multimatic divisions as necessary
  • Report on program status and identify critical issues
  • Act as the the primary point of communication with the customer for the respective program
  • Provide customer presentations and technical support on new product launches both within the company and with the customer
  • Investigate, analyze, and present cost-saving projects
  • Investigating and staying abreast of new and emerging technologies which may enhance the profitability of the company
  • Preparing engineering and manufacturing feasibility and prepare quotes for new and existing programs

Requirements

  • Must have Engineering and or Tool & Die Maker degree, diploma or equivalent experience / background.
  • Minimum 3-5 years related experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read and fully interpret Engineering Drawings and Standards (Applicable GD&T knowledge preferred).
  • Intermediate computer skills in Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Microsoft Project, Internet, Flowcharts, and an understanding of Databases, MRP and CAD, software.
  • High level of organizational skills required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively interact with outside customers, suppliers, and all levels of employees internally.
