Night shift Cleaner

Position Overview:
Multimatic Anton is looking for a Cleaner (Night shift). The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for providing the press department with safe, well maintained tools and dies, while ensuring quality and the ability to meet production requirements in a timely manner. Experience troubleshooting in a press shop environment would be an asset

Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for handing out and counting of gloves.
- Responsible for cleaning floors as needed (Clark and Tennant machines).
- Responsible for ordering sanitary supplies.
- Responsible for replacing sanitary supplies as required.
- Responsible for recycling, both for office and plant.
- Responsible for using a forklift and Reach truck, removing garbage and cardboard from plant area.
- Responsible for shoveling snow as required (front entrance, employee entrance etc.).
- Responsible for general yard duties.
- Responsible for cleaning fridge’s on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for performing other reasonable requests made by Management or Supervisor
- Work in a safe manner at all times.
- Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts.
- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
- Follow all general procedures where applicable as indicated in the General Procedures section of the level III Procedure manual.
- Follow all Departmental General Procedures as well as procedures for this position as indicated in the level III Procedure manual.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work in compliance with and conform to TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
Basic Requirements :
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Forklift experience, license preferable
- Narrow Aisle reach truck experience, license preferred
- Experience operating industrial floor cleaners
- Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to read, write and speak English
