Multimatic Mfg. is looking for a Receiving Auditor in the Quality Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Responsible for coordinating and implementing the Receiving Inspection System
- Responsible for implementing the Receiving Inspection System as per QA 06 01
- Responsible for Plated and E Coated Component Inspection as per QA 06 17
- Responsible for Verifying Heat Treated Components as per QA 06 18
- Assist Supplier Quality Engineer’s when Supplier non-conformances are found.
- Creating DMN’s as required
- Creating shipping paperwork for returns
- Assist in maintaining the annual certs/layouts and CQI database
- Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts, participate in Kaizen and Gear activities
- Participate in continuous improvement program
- Perform other duties as assigned in QA department
- Work in compliance and conform to IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards.
- Work in a safe manner at all times
- Work in compliance with the provisions of OHSA and the regulations
- Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that Multimatic requires to be used or worn
- Report to manager or supervisor the absence of or defect in any equipment or protective device of which you are aware and which may endanger yourself or another worker
- Report to manager or supervisor any contravention of OHSA or the regulations or the existence of any hazard of which you know
- Not remove or make ineffective any protective device required by the regulations or by Multimatic, without providing an adequate temporary protective device and when the need for removing or making ineffective the protective device has ceased, the protective device shall be replaced immediately
- Not use or operate any equipment, machine, device or thing or work in a manner that may endanger yourself or any other worker
- Not engage in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
Basic Requirements and Competencies:
- Experience using micrometers, Vernier’s, gauges, shadow graph and check fixtures would be an asset
- Blueprint reading and dimensional tolerencing would be an asset
- Grade 12 minimum - additional courses related to the Quality field would be an asset
- Previous relevant manufacturing experience would be an asset
- Ability to read, write and speak English
