CURRENTLY, WE ARE SEARCHING FOR A FACILITIES CLEANER/JANITOR FOR 3rd SHIFT (10:50pm - 7:00am)

SUMMARY
Maintains manufacturing equipment and building facilities and supports all preventative maintenance programs by performing the following duties within an automotive environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have positive attitude, Must have the “willingness” and must have a passion for cleanliness and organization
- Responsible for the daily cleaning of plant restrooms: cleaned, sanitized, mopped & trash emptied
- Responsible for cleaning all offices, lunch room and some production areas.
- Responsible for the daily stocking and restocking of necessary supplies of the facility; includes restrooms, lunch room, hearing protection dispensers or any other supplies needed for the plant facility
- Ensures the lunch room is cleaned, sanitized, mopped, dusted and overall appearance of the lunch room is in excellent condition; including counter tops, microwave ovens, tables and chairs
- Works with various plant personnel to improve the overall cleanliness and order of the plant facility.
- Ensures outside building perimeter is cleaned, picked up, and outside break areas maintained and trash removal.
- Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor or designee.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; treating others with dignity & respect.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrated organizational skills & experience
- Must project a positive and energetic attitude
- Must be self-motivated; requiring minimal supervision
- Must be able to obtain a motorized vehicle (Floor Sweeper) license through Multimatic New Haven
- Able to work in confined areas
- Able to work in both hot & cold environments
- Able to lift up to 50lbs, occasionally
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School graduate or GED
- Demonstrated organizational skills & experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and work instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with simple mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
REASONING ABILITY
The ability to apply commonsense understanding of priorities, instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
