Position Overview:

MTCE is currently seeking to recruit a Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer with a range of skills to join the growing team delivering OEM, motorsport and niche vehicle projects within Multimatic.

Position Summary:

This role will be focused on modelling and simulation in support of vehicle, system, and component-level development initiatives. This is an integral part of our closed-loop vehicle dynamics optimisation process as well as Multimatic’s MISA approach. You will have the opportunity to work on R&D activities and live race/road vehicle dynamics projects. You will be responsible for carrying out all phases of assigned projects including modelling/simulation/analysing results, report preparation and collaborating with the wider project team. This is an office based role focused on simulation, however there will also be interactions with other areas such as the driver-in-the-loop simulator, four post rig, damper testing and the K&C rig.

Education and Experience:

It is expected that candidates will have experience in using the appropriate software, preferably Matlab&Simulink / VI-GRADE / ADAMS in a vehicle dynamics or control systems context. Equivalent software experience is also welcomed (such as Dymola & Modelica).

If you have more than three (3) years’ experience in a similar or related position within the automotive industry, an Engineering Degree or equivalent and have the drive to reach challenging goals, this position should interest you. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong mathematics aptitude and problem solving skills.
