Production Operator (6 Months Contract)
Location: Multimatic SPP, Wymondham, Norfolk, United Kingdom
Scope of Position:
To perform the day to day trimming and bonding activities, to ensure the weekly production targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform production duties as required
- Preparing carbon fibre components for bonding by marking up and abrading in trim cell wearing paper suit and dust mask
- Bonding and assembling carbon fibre components
- Preparing parts for shipping including cleaning of the final assemblies
- Lay-up and dosing of carbon cloth and resin
- Operating curing press
- Working towards daily/ weekly targets
- Rework as required
- Update production paperwork
- Continuously clean and tidy equipment
- Work in a safe manner at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Be prepared to work extended / flexible hours as required
Basic Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Manually dexterous
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment would be advantageous
- Air tool experience advantageous
