Multimatic has expanded its manufacturing presence in Fort Wayne, IN and is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern or Engineering Intern interested in the automotive manufacturing field who desire to join an energetic and dedicated team that is launching a new facility with new equipment and a new product line. The selected candidate will assist with data collection and data input into our Quality Management System in preparation of our IATF 16949 Audit. It is anticipated this assignment is a 3-4 month project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Assist with development of PPAP documentation for all new launch programs
- Data collection from Work Centers
- Data Analysis
- Data input in Quality Management System
- Projects will consist of time at the desk, on the production floor and in and around equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a A.S. or B.S. in Quality Engineering, Design Engineering Technology or Mechanical, Weld or Robotic Engineering
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word & other Microsoft Office Suite)
- Organizational skills
