Position Overview:

Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions (MDS) is one of the newest of Multimatic’s North American divisions. It is a supplier of suspension parts and welded assemblies to the automotive industry, manufacturing front and rear lower control arms, links, stabilizer bars and various welded assemblies in a modern 240,000 square foot facility.

Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to perform and provide administrative support for all the buyers as it relates to sending requests for quote, tracking material fluctuations, keeping supplier performance up-to-date,  MRO supplies and services as assigned for the company in accordance with company policies, customer specifications, provincial and federal laws and regulations.

Duties 

  • Issue supplier profile package to potential suppliers and obtain response
  • Enter PO’s into SAP for signatures/hyperlink and ensure RFQ log is current
  • Send bailment forms and follow up with pictures for tooling tags
  • Maintain filing system
  • Perform job function in compliance with TS16949 standards and maintain due diligence in regard to environmental matters and work in compliance with ISO 14001
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Basic Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role 
  • Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and MRP concepts
  • Excellent communication skills in regards to written reports, and telephone manners
  • Strong problems solving techniques and abilities
  • Detail oriented
