Traffic Administrator

Location: FORMULA SAE NORTH, Multimatic Product Services, Bangkok, Multimatic Anton Manufacturing, Concord, Ontario, Multimatic Manufacturing, Concord, Ontario, Canada

Key Responsibilities :

a) Ensuring weekend/night procedures are followed
b) Responsible for all EDI transactions (862, 830,810 etc.)
c) Receiving customer schedules and importing into SAP (both EDI and Manually)
d) Processing invoices for both production and non-production items
e) Tracking and maintaining Customer container inventories
f) General filing, organization and archiving
g) Working weekends and Holidays as needed
h) Monitor all customer portals as required
i) Completing NAFTA documents as required
j) Work in a safe manner at all times
k) High focus on customer delivery ratings
l) Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts while participating in gear initiatives
m) Traveling to customer provided training may be required
n) Work in compliance with QS, TS and ISO standards
o) Follow all general procedures where applicable as indicated in the GENERAL PROCEDURES section of the level III Procedure manual.
p) Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements :

a) Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
b) Minimum One year experience in a traffic/logistic/customer service role in an automotive environment is preferred
c) Excellent knowledge of computers and computer software (SAP and Office).
d) Ability to successfully interact with customers, customs and freight companies etc.
e) Knowledge of Custom laws and regulations.
f) Excellent clerical and organizational skills.
g) Can participate in problem solving and decision making
h) Ability to work in a fast paced environment

i) Ability to work independently or in a group environment while maintaining high level of detail
j) Knowledge of EDI systems.
k) Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in all departments in a multicultural environment.
l) Strong ability to read, write and speak English.
