Prototype Team Operations Assistant

Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles Coventry

We are looking for an enthusiastic Operations assistant to work in our leading Niche Vehicle Assembly team.

 Working Day:

Working to tight lead times you will thrive in a busy and ever changing workshop. No two days are the same and you will enjoy variety in your work. Organising team logistics and paperwork, sourcing parts and materials, receiving and storing parts and maintaining accurate stock inventory.

 

Tasks will include:


Admin

Updating build trackers parts/cars in and out

Booking parts into inventory management web app

Raising delivery notes

Dealing with PO enquiries

Producing shortage reports particularly for free-issue parts

Raising PO requests

Coordinating deliveries and collections

Issuing build books for production

Issuing reject notes to suppliers

 


Workshop

Conducting inventories of parts and consumables

Dealing with deliveries (unloading and storing parts)

Organising storage of parts, ensuring they are stored correctly

Keeping the workshop tidy ensuring parts are kept off the floor

Forklift driving would be a plus for loading and unloading

 

What Multimatic can offer you:

  • Full time permanent position competitive pay rate depending on experience.
  • Standard working week 08:00 – 17:00 but flexibility is required to work occasional evenings and weekends when projects dictate.

  • You will have a passion for the automotive industry and be excited at the idea of working with niche vehicles.
  • A high level of commitment and attention to detail is critical
  • The ability to work to tight lead times, consistently reproducing high quality work.
  • Work well as part of team and prepared to be flexible to meet the needs of the team & customer demand.
  • Enthusiastic with a positive can do attitude.
  • Previous experience of working in an automotive or motor racing would be an advantage
