CNC Turner - Night Shift

We are looking for experienced PROGRAMMER/MACHINISTS proficient in setting and operating Hardinge multi axis mill turn machine centres, single spindle lathe, DMG Mori Lathes and Haas TL1 to join our leading Motorsport/Automotive Machine Shop.

 

Working Day:

  • Working to tight prototype lead times, you will have the ability to program, set, prove out and machine complex components in aluminium, titanium, stainless and steel materials.

 

What Multimatic can offer you:

  • Full time permanent position competitive pay rate depending on experience.
  • Hours Monday to Thursday 5pm – 5am 48hours per week (40 at time and 8 @ x 1.5)
  • 2 x 15mintues tea breaks & 1/2an hour lunch
  • 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays. Plus 2 Multimatic days given to be taken between Christmas and New Year

About you:

  • You will have served a recognised apprenticeship and hold the relevant qualifications, with a proven machining background in a fast paced precision engineering environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of setting and operating multi axis machine tools to achieve maximum efficiency and the highest quality standards machining precision components.
  • Considerable CNC working knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controls.
  • The unique ability to work to tight prototype lead times, consistently reproducing high quality machined products.
  • Work well as part of team and prepared to be flexible to meet the needs of the team & customer demand.
  • Enthusiastic with a positive can do attitude.
