Located in Markham, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is part of the Multimatic Engineering Group, and is the new, world-class facility responsible for production of the 2017 Ford GT.
Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is seeking to recruit a Quality Engineer to maintain and continuously improve the company's quality system, ensure the timely flow of high-quality product from raw material to finished goods, as well as the proper handling of non-conforming material. This engineer will work with suppliers to review their PPAPs and DMNs (non-conforming reports and required corrective actions) and will work with company departments to improve company processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish and lead the implementation of a supplier development program for strategic and key suppliers in order to achieve and sustain high levels of supply chain performance
Assist suppliers in developing and implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement activities
Review/approve PPAP submissions and maintain documentation in an organized manner
Conduct supplier PPAP events
Ensure supplier corrective actions are effective, documented, implemented and closed in a timely manner
Analyze data and provide solutions/recommendations for product and process improvements
Coordinate third-party inspection team as required
Ensure that customer requirements are addressed. This includes selection of special characteristics, setting quality objectives and related training, corrective and preventive actions, product design and development interaction
Must comply with all ISO9001/TS16949, ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSA (Health and Safety) systems and standards
Education and Experience:
Mechanical Engineer or ASQC Quality Engineer certification
A Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an automotive OEM quality environment
Working experience with Automotive Customer Specifics including AIAG requirements
Detailed knowledge of PPAP and Process Sign Off
Sound knowledge of Quality Management System, ISO9001/TS16949
In-depth blueprint reading, CAD data, and GD&T knowledge
