Multimatic Indiana – New Haven is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shifts to help maintain the division’s equipment and facilities, perform all preventative maintenance checks and procedures as scheduled, and assist with equipment setup and changeovers.

Duties and Responsibilities
Machine repair and die changeover
Machine setup procedures
Perform machining tasks, such as grinding, turning & milling
Proven ability to Troubleshoot and resolve problems
Carry out procedures of the preventative maintenance program
Ability to safely operate all machinery
Schedule time, material and equipment required to perform the job
Properly use time and complete all forms as required
Have or acquire all hand tools to perform the job
Willing to work any shift and work overtime as needed
Education and/or Experience
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum combination of two years' experience in repair of production equipment, or machining, and/or formal training
And/or journeyman’s certification
Ability to read and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to solve practical problems and seal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Ability to work without close supervision
