Planner - MP&L
Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles Europe, Coventry , United Kingdom
Scope of Position:
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate schedule requirements for the production line are clear to the business and the 3PL
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining and analysing the SAP material schedules
- Responsible for aspects of Supplier Management
- Responsible for planning and maintaining inventory levels within target
- Responsible for the smooth flow of parts to and from vendors
- Participation in the perpetual inventory process and results
- Participation in continuous improvement program
- Following all departmental general procedures
- Performing other reasonable duties as assigned
Key Areas of Authority:
- Follow company procedures and policies as stated in Employee Handbook and Work Instructions
- Manage any safety or quality risks and issues that may be identified
- Supplier and customer communication
- Create, issue, and agree requirement schedules and production plans with production leadership
- Monitor all stock levels
Skills & Experience:
- Experience using SAP
- Experience in the automotive parts or vehicle manufacturing industry is desirable
- Excellent spelling, punctuation, and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills using Microsoft suite of programs, i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work self-sufficiently as part of a larger team in a busy and sometimes noisy environment
- Confident and personable manner
