Business Solutions Analyst – SAP S/4 HANA FICO

Overview

Multimatic is a privately held, global enterprise supplying engineered components, systems and services to the automotive industry. The company’s core competencies include the development and manufacture of complex mechanisms and body hardware, suspension systems and body structural components as well as the design, engineering and development of light weight composite automotive systems.

We are located in Markham, Ontario, and we are currently seeking a S/4 HANA FICO Analyst.

Position Summary

This person will be responsible for support of SAP S/4 HANA FICO for all the Multimatic divisions across different countries (Canada, US, Mexico, UK, and China). This role will also require the enhancement of the current system and ensure training and documentation of the changes. With the plan of Multimatic to upgrade to S4 HANA, the role will require to assist in the blueprinting activities and implementation of the updated SAP system. The role will also require the need to learn the Multimatic inhouse manufacturing and shipping system that interfaces with SAP.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will possess and can demonstrate the following skills:

  • Facilitates the implementation and support of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules to enhance the Company’s business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of stakeholders’ satisfaction.
  • Prepares detailed functional specifications for customized development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Provide support to all the Multimatic divisions relating to SAP S/4 HANA FICO issues and other internal systems.
  • Conduct SAP S/4 HANA FICO training based on Multimatic SAP standards.
  • Manages every aspect of project stage activity within S/4 HANA FICO area ensuring quality and accountability of the project completion.
  • Ensures documentation and communication elements are maintained and meet the appropriate policy and corporate standards.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of SAP FI & CO configuration experience, including knowledge of key integration points, with at least 2 projects full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA FICO implementation experience (project preparation through to go-live)
  • Must have thorough knowledge of General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Bank Accounting (FI-BL), Cost element accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA, and Project Systems. 
  • Experience on payment configuration, DMEE, and interface of SAP systems to different banks as part of the AP Process. Multimatic has banking interface in different countries (Canada, US, Mexico, and UK). 
  • Proven experience facilitating the implementation and support of SAP S/4 HANA FICO Modules to enhance business functionality and performance. 
  • Must be able to facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and translate them to system requirements with the ability to identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions.
  • Must be able to provide technical stewardship of end-to-end integration solutions between SAP and other SAP & non-SAP systems. 
  • Proven ability to take the lead on technical and functional design, support, documentation & training for multiple systems integrated through SAP. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a clear mindset on end results  Experience on S/4 HANA Implementation/Support is a plus. 
  • Strong multitasking skills with ability to lead and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time. 
  • Results oriented and demonstrates a “can-do” attitude - adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or similar degree.
  • University undergraduate degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred.
  • CGA or CMA accounting designation is considered an asset.
  • Must be SAP Certified in S/4 HANA FICO module.
  • Experience of working in large landscapes/environments/customers       

Working Environment:

Hybrid Model – Minimum of 3 days in the office.
