Finance Analyst

Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles Europe, Coventry , United Kingdom

Scope of Position:

To maintain accurate Accounts Receivable and support the Finance Team in meeting the month-end finance timetable.

The various functions include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

Management Accounting

  • Support the Finance Controller to meet month-end deadlines.
  • Create analysis of projects to contribute to margin and prepare reports for Finance and Company Management on the status of projects.
  • Support all departments to improve the financial controls of the company.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation and report on discrepancies and unreconciled items.
  • Support with quarterly forecasting process.
  • Support year-end process including audit packs for annual financial audit.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Accounts Receivable

  • Invoice processing (matching to customer orders), obtaining authorisation where necessary.
  • Maintenance of the AR ledger (setting up new customer accounts)
  • Dealing with calls and resolving any supplier queries promptly.
  • Processing of customer receipts.
  • Chairing weekly AR meetings to monitor the status of AR accounts and customer order status.
  • Weekly meeting with the Stores department to identify customer deliveries.

Skills & Experience:

  • Studying towards or have an accounting designation (CIMA, CA, ACCA, CPA)
  • Experience in the automotive parts or vehicle manufacturing industry is desirable.
  • Excellent English, spelling, punctuation, and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft suite of programs, i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work across several projects simultaneously, managing and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently as part of a larger team in a busy and sometimes noisy environment.
  • Confident and personable manner.
