CNC Programmer

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all TS16949 procedures
- Maintain job book/job folder
- Maintain prototype job directory
- Interact with Design Engineers/Toolmakers/Apprentices to develop (high volume) manufacturable components with an eye for product improvement and potential build issues
- Ensure that the customer’s requirements, which include project timing, part quality, and delivery, are understood, and met
- Interact with Design Engineers/Toolmakers to develop a manufacturable component
- Ensure the shop environment is kept safe, clean, and organized to enable timely and safe
Education and Experience:
- Knowledge of Mastercam surfacing and cutter path generation
- Minimum 2 years programming experience
- Knowledge of Cad Key using 3-d wireframe techniques
- Successful completion of tow motor course
- Must be familiar with TS16949 procedures
- Production tooling experience an asset
- Ability to read blue prints
