You'll be immersed in our state-of-the-art machine shop, which stands as the very heartbeat of our operations. Key responsibilities:
- Master the Art of Precision: You'll program and operate multi-axis milling machines, sculpting precision components that adhere to the most demanding standards and tolerances.
- Meet Deadlines: Your aptitude for working under tight schedules and deadlines will be an asset.
- Team Player: Your proactive spirit will harmonise seamlessly within our machine shop team.
Basic requirements:
- Solid Foundation: A solid grasp of basic machining and engineering principles is crucial.
- Read to Succeed: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential.
- Measure Up: Competence in using manual measuring equipment is a must.
- Ready to Learn: A willingness to learn and operate CNC milling machines.
- Tech-Savvy: confidence using systems, digital and computerised technology.
Desirable:
- CNC Mastery: Previous experience in using and programming CNC machine tools is a valuable asset.
- Machine Familiarity: Familiarity with Haas, DMG, or CMS machines is a plus.
- Materials Guru: Knowledge of precision component parts using various materials is highly regarded.
