Traffic Administrator
Location: Multimatic C-Mech, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
C-Mech is a division of the Multimatic Mechanism Group located in Newmarket, Ontario. We are searching for a dynamic individual for the position of Traffic Administrator.

Scope of Position
To receive all customer schedules, ensure smooth and timely imports to internal MRP system and delivery of final product to all customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure weekend/night procedures are followed.
- Responsible for all EDI transactions.
- Receive customer schedules and import into SAP (both EDI and manually).
- Process invoices for both production and non-production items.
- Track and maintain customer container inventories.
- General filing, organization and archiving.
- Work weekends and Holidays when necessary.
- Monitor all customer portals as required.
- Complete Customs documents/certificates as required.
- Work in a safe manner at all times.
- High focus on customer delivery ratings.
- Travel to customer provided training when required.
Education and Experience Required:
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
Minimum One year experience in a traffic/logistic/customer service role in an automotive environment is preferred.
Good communication skills (written and oral).
Computer literacy and a sound knowledge in MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to successfully interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to successfully interact with customers, customs and freight companies etc.
Knowledge of Custom laws and regulations.
Excellent clerical and organizational skills.
Can participate in problem solving and decision making.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work independently or in a group environment while maintaining high level of detail.
Knowledge of EDI systems.
