Multimatic Special Vehicle Operations is an expanding division of Multimatic Inc.

Aside from providing engineering and product-development services to Multimatic’s own manufacturing facilities worldwide, MSVO is a leading contract engineering and vehicle-development resource to major OEMs, motorsport teams, and a growing number of niche-vehicle manufacturers.

Scope of Position:

Assist VP of Finance by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the division. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide meaningful financial analysis to the VP of Finance for effective decision making
  • Communicate financial metrics to various function departments
  • Compile and analyze monthly financial reporting packages (including Balance Sheet, Income statement, Cash flows, Inventory, and Fixed Assets)
  • Prepare quarterly forecast and annual budget
  • Review monthly departmental financial results with department managers
  • Ensure all functional departments and corporate financial reporting requirements are achieved
  • Provide leadership and support to Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable department
  • Assist in the development of effective processes and procedures within Finance and Administration
  • Assist with the global retail pricing structure to ensure compliance with country-specific duties, taxes etc
  • Prepare local and state tax returns and ensure compliance
  • Prepare audit packages at year-end and serve as a liaison to external auditors
  • Establish and maintain internal controls
  • Manage all aspects of the general ledger
  • Analyze and report on cost variances
  • Support and encourage KAIZEN principles, concepts, and activities,
  • Encourage GEAR activities from staff to meet corporate goals,
  • Perform other duties as required (i.e. special projects).

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of supervision experience
  • CPA designation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Solid understanding of applicable regulations
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
