Warehouse Technician - Material Handler (Contract Position)
Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles NA, Markham, Ontario, Canada
Position Overview:
Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America is looking for a Warehouse Technician to be part of a core group that will assist in the production of the Ford GT supercar. Reporting to the Materials Manager, candidates will be responsible for picking parts / filling orders for the production team of the Ford GT supercar.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who desires hands-on experience with high performance vehicles, advanced composites, the latest in automotive technology, and has a passionate interest in automobiles.
This is a contract position (approximately 6 months).

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be organized and work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures in an automotive assembly environment
- Picking parts / filling orders with accuracy and in a timely manner
- Load and unload materials from delivery truck, move inventory into designated receiving area
- Constant monitoring of stock inventory levels to avoid production disruption
- Identifying quality issues as they arise
- Problem solving, as necessary
- Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment and providing positive feedback
- Adhering to Multimatic’s quality-focused attitude and work culture
Training is provided as required.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in equivalent position in warehousing field
- Raymond Reach experience
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Experience in manufacturing environments in an asset
- Able to work with minimal supervision and instruction
- Basic computer skills are required, familiarity with Microsoft Office is an asset
