Tooling Prep and Paint Technician

Position Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Tooling Prep and Paint Technician to join our team producing high quality parts for motorsport and the premium automotive industry.
The Tooling Prep and Paint Technician will prepare new and existing tooling, moulds and patterns following a set company procedure prior to use within our clean room.

Key responsibilities:
- Seal and release new tooling or pattern work either by hand or spraying, depending on the requirements of the part.
- Prioritise and organise the workload dependent on customer demand
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Complete any rework on old tooling and re-seal/release
- Train new starters and help others who need guidance
- Check and replenish stock levels, liaising with stores to re-order
- Painting of parts as per customer requirements
Basic requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
Desirables:
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to take on other composite related tasks
