Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles NA, Markham, Ontario, Canada
Position Overview:
Multimatic Niche Vehicles NA is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician who is self-motivated, able to work independently and take initiative on various tasks aiding in the upkeep of the facility responsible for the production of the Ford GT supercar.
The ideal candidate will have a variety of skills, such as electro-mechanical, plumbing, assembly, painting, janitorial and grounds keeping.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, drains
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on paint booth equipment and related systems
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently
- Maintain a clean shop floor and work area
- Perform maintenance tasks including electro-mechanical, plumbing, assembly, painting, and drywall repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained
- Indoor and outdoor patrol of the facility to determine if any hazards are present and any issues that are discovered should be resolved immediately
- Assist other departments when required
- Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment and providing positive feedback
- Adhering to Multimatic’s quality-focused attitude and work culture
Experience and Criteria:
- Follow all established safety procedures
- Strong experience in using common hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and bend
- Ability to multitask and be flexible in daily work tasks
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management in a professional manner as well as interact directly with outside contractors associated with the facility
- Experience in manufacturing environment is an asset
Training is provided as required. You are required to bring your own tools.
