Position Summary:

Multimatic Product Services is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a Sustainability Manager. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing. They will be responsible for coordinating Multimatic’s sustainability actions with an emphasis on reporting for Multimatic’s global customers. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the activity to identify the key sustainability metrics and then support the implementation of those metrics in to standard operating procedures.
  • Interface with Multimatic’s global manufacturing divisions, engineering technical centers, group offices, and corporate office to compile sustainability data.
  • Collaborate with Multimatic’s Communications Team to annually publish a Multimatic Sustainability Report.
  • Lead Multimatic’s responses to third party sustainability vendors such as CDP and EcoVadis.
  • Support Account Managers in the Sales Organization with responses to customer sustainability questions and surveys.
  • Support Account Managers in the Sales Organization with the sustainability elements included in quote request (RFQ) packages.
  • Support Multimatic’s manufacturing divisions and Group leads with sustainability items including improvement actions for NQC-SAQ.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from College or University is required
  • Minimum 2 years of sustainability experience preferred; familiarity with SAQ and CDP is strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Familiarity with all elements of sustainability is preferred (Labor and Human Rights, Environmental, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement)

Travel:

  • Up to 5% travel – local and international

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
