Scope of Position :

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and organised system pertaining to expediting incoming and outgoing parts ensuring components availability for production schedules.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for maintaining and continuously updating the out-plant schedules
  • Responsible for the smooth flow of parts to and from all out-plant vendors
  • Conducts periodical spot verification of inventory versus indicated quantities
  • Analyze various reports from the MRP system, analyze the stock levels to determine movements, to then create appropriate schedules. The delivery schedule is then issued to suppliers.
  • Attend daily meetings to identify critical shortages and share delivery information with the Planning Team.
  • Liaise with suppliers on daily basis, Use Daily Shortage Reports.
  • Monitor Plan to reduce bought out schedule arrears.
  • Ensure ASN process is followed
  • Chase out-plant for delivery promises to meet customer schedules.
  • Setting priorities for 7.5t lorry driver.
  • Responsible for periodical stock checks and ordering expendable packaging.
  • Responsible for Forklift fleet, with liaising to all suppliers of truck to make sure they are serviced and repaired in timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining cost tracker on the forklifts, if cost involved.
  • Some scheduling of assembly lines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement program

Basic Requirements :

  • Must be able to interact with all levels of employees within a multicultural environment
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to use all Microsoft package to a good level
  • Must be able to legally work in the UK
