SUMMARY

At Multimatic we are looking for associates that can reason, innovate, create and drive success. We want a team that is passionate about manufacturing with the latest technology and materials such as UHSS, Al, Hot forming and other composites.

The Indiana facility provides steel structural components and assemblies to a wide variety of customers and global platforms. Our core competencies are roll forming, robotics, complex assemblies, MIG, LASER welding, LASER cutting, projection/spot welding, glue/adhesive application, value added stamping, and ACCRA technology (similar to hot stamping)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the first responder for all troubleshooting activities at the ACCRA presses
  • Monitor, maintain and improve all systems related to the ACCRA process
  • Collaborate with engineering, production and maintenance staff to eliminate downtime and increase throughput
  • Troubleshoot and repair various types of electrical controls, drives, die electrical problems, hydraulic issues, robot paths, etc.
  • Assist tool and die in the troubleshooting and repair of the ACCRA dies
  • Track and effectively communicate machine issues to other shifts, maintenance and engineering
  • Use laptop and various software programs and network interfaces to communicate with equipment
  • Read and troubleshoot PLC programs
  • Collaborate with technical staff on improving HMI & robot programs
  • Supervise and assist production on all press changeovers
  • Perform preventative maintenance requirements as scheduled and assigned
  • Schedule time, materials and equipment required to perform tasks, and to properly use and complete required documentation
  • Understand part print requirements, assist ACCRA Tech with understanding and reacting to quality related issues
  • Lead and maintain 5S standards
  • Support of Production as and when required
  • Assist in keeping a spare parts inventory
  • Additional responsibilities may be added when necessary
