Senior Information Security Architect
Location: Multimatic IT, Markham, Ontario, Canada
Multimatic is a privately held, global enterprise supplying engineered components, systems, and services to the automotive industry. Multimatic IT is responsible for supporting a complex and global IT landscape covering multiple divisions and countries.
This is a hands-on role in which the successful candidate will have experience designing, implementing and integrating security solutions related to Identity and Access Management/Privileged Access Management, Secure Web Gateway, Security Incident and Event Management, Cloud Security and Data Leakage Protection.
Job Responsibilities
- Designs and implements security solutions related to Identity and Access Management and Privileged Access Management, Secure Web Gateway, Security Incident and Event Management, Cloud Security and Data Leakage Protection.
- Proactively identifies technical and architectural risks, commenting and/or providing alternatives for improvement.
- Collaborates and partners with various key stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure alignment with the overall intended design.
- Consults with project teams to ensure adherence to security design patterns and best practices.
- Participates in Governance, Risk and Compliance activities such as reviewing and monitoring risk exceptions.
- Devlops Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents.
Job Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience culminating in a proven background in technology design, implementation, and delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer or Electrical Engineering (or similar field).
- Experience having architected and implemented an IAM solution (CyberArk, BeyondTrust) or a Secure Web Gateway (Zscaler, Netskope)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger group comprised of different technical and business areas.
- Experience with multiple standard security technologies: proxy, firewalls and network security capabilities, IDS/IPS, DLP, AV, end-point protection, vulnerability scanning, security event log monitoring, etc.
- Strong influence and negotiation skills.
